Below are some examples of photogrammetry captures I have done.
The software used was Reality Capture, and most captures had a couple of hundred images at upwards of 2k resolutions.
My technique was to start away from the subject and slowly rotate around it with the camera on a 1 second delay. As I complete rotations, slowly move into the main subject (or along and around it). Towards the end of the shoot, get close on points of interest and make sure to get captures of areas of occlusion.
Some of the work and captures were done in collaboration with Catherine O’Neill.
