This is the second map I started working on. Coming from just a probuilder doodle, it’s come a long way to be what it is now. The level is made up of 2k textures using my custom parallax shader node made with amplify shader graph, and complex meshes.
I added the vines to give it a “lost” feeling and it really added to the atmosphere. Still very much a work in progress, I plan to add environment effects (sand clouds, dust storms), and environmental sounds to the level.
The map plays how I thought it would, with intense angles to hold, multi-level shootouts and “high-speed” chases around the map once you’ve gained the upper hand.
